About Miles 4 Meals

We are a non-profit organization whose mission is to address food distribution gaps, reduce food waste, alleviate hunger, and improve the well-being of houseless individuals and food-insecure families in San Diego County. This mission will be achieved by establishing partnerships with local ranchers, farmers, restaurants, grocery stores, fast-food chains, and bakeries to collect surplus edible food and distribute it to homeless shelters, food banks, and outreach programs ensuring consistent access to meals for food insecure and unhoused individuals and families. Miles 4 Meals also aims to raise awareness about food waste, hunger, and homelessness through community outreach and engage volunteers in its efforts.
